On Thursday, September 30, 2010, Beth Gibson of Buddy Up Tennis received a Special Recognition Award at the Greater Columbus Tennis Association’s (GCTA) Award Ceremony for her efforts with Buddy Up Tennis in supporting tennis in the Columbus community. Beth Gibson Receives the Lee Gillespie Award - Sunday, November 6, 2011
On Sunday, November 6, 2011, Beth Gibson, the founder and the heart and soul of Buddy Up Tennis, received the Lee Gillespie Award for being the non-tournament player who contributed the most to tennis in 2011 for her work and dedication to Buddy Up Tennis in Columbus, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh.  Jim Amick from the United States Tennis Association (USTA) presented Beth with her award and delivered an inspiring speech.
